    Adman,

Must admit some concern for you. You used to have a passion for theatre, art, literature. Lately, (and it may be blog related, only catching the snippets of your life) it seems to be alcohol, anger, and simulated sex acts. Be well, be happy, be yourself.

  2. Blow me.

    (Dramatic pause)

    Kidding. No, really.

(Sorry, I just couldn't pass that one up.)

Okay, as far as alchohol, anger, and simulated sex acts, etc., I hear your concern but really, these are just random samplings.

Or, rather, they are not so random because they stand out in conrast to my everyday life, and are therefore noteworthy.

Literature and the Arts continue to be a big part of my life (this week I've burned through about 4 or 5 books, saw "The Machinist," and was quite taken by the above poem) but you can read about a zillion online reviews of those things at anytime.

Besides, the coarser side of life... well, it's part of life, too. (And quite often, very entertaining as well.)

My old buddy, Mike Savage, came up with the concept of Love/Ugly - embracing all parts of one's self including the not so purty parts.

To an extent, this is that.

And while the slogan "Namaste..." etc., is irreverent, it is also the perfect encapsulation of this concept:

"The God or Goddess in me salutes the God or Goddess in you," offset by the "F" bomb.

Its the ultimate expression of dualism, the last division before all things become one.

    Dig?

    'Sides. Its funny.
