Taken last Thursday, the object on the left is a ticket dispenser for the new Phoenix Light Rail, scheduled to begin service around New Year's Eve.Something about the shot and place felt... both antiseptic and abandoned - like an empty-halled hospital in the wee morning hours.
Further down the platform a recorded voice droned, "the public consumption of liquor (was) strictly prohibited," over and over again.
