The light is like dirty dishwater, and everything has that bleary, faded look.
You snap a few pics; it begins to drizzle.

ReplyDeleteAnd as for crisis, it's actually the opposite - nothing could be less urgent.
Take cellophane and wrap it around your head (allowing for ventilation of course) and that's kinda how things seem.
Maybe blurred would be a better word than bleary. Or how about sub-real?
If "surreal" is when things are super real, this would be the opposite of that.
